Try April Foolishness by Teresa Bateman and illustrated by Nadine Bernard Westcott. Grandma is happy the grandkids are visiting. Granpa's fixing breakfast when the grandchildren suddenly shout, "The cows have gotten loose! I think Big Brown Bessie just stepped on a goose!"
